They’ve been doing this for a few years. With the clock between innings, you need to cut away almost immediately to squeeze two full minutes of commercials into the break.
Of all the things they do to make money, this one offends me the least.
Yeah, but look at it this way. Many innings ago, you declared yourself out of the game. Now you're back, so you must have been entertained, to a degree, anyway.
