I should be furious they wasted Embiid's absence entirely, but given they seem to need Embiid to play to actually play hard, I guess its' a whatever at this point.

It's going to be a slugfest tonight. These teams are starting to legit not like each other and Celtics were embarrassed the other night. Major gut-check game. Slightly worried about Marcus' hair being on fire and Tatum doing that thing where he presses and misses a lot of layups at the rim, but I think this might be a Malcolm Brogdon special. Calm, collected, and getting buckets whenever he wants.

I'm not eager for the Embiid whistle but I think it will also help the defense focus and simplify because he naturally slows things down for the Philly offense.

Indeed. They lost game 1 last year to both Milwaukee and Miami, then had blowout wins in game 2 each time. More of the same, please.
Blowing game 1 (when gifted with the league MVP out) has turned this into a huge, season-defining game this evening. Going down 0-2 in any NBA playoff series is usually a death knell
