I’m here so maybe I’m biased. But this is a fucking ridiculous whistle right now.

This is a Marcus Smart game and series.

Unsurprisingly, Celtics have no trouble keeping up and sticking with their man in the Embiid offense.

TNT refusing to show foul replays.
Most NBA broadcasts don't.. if you start paying attention they often play replays of a play or two before instead of showing a replay of a foul... especially if it's controversial.

TNT did at least show the Embiid flop tho.

It’s not the brace you dummies. Embiid falls on the floor all the time.
I really hate watching him play. All the talent in the world but he wants to grift and take shortcuts. Him and Harden are a match made in hell

Not exactly a finely tuned machine but I feel like they are trying to find their groove again and this is a good way to tread water.

Not by himself though. I think there actually might be something there. It's a brace, so it must be limiting his movement...that means it is more difficult to make adjustments for balance, especially if he's not used to it.

They got a little casual with the ball toward the end after taking really good care of it for the whole quarter, but it's great to turn an almost turnover into three.

Feels a bit like the refs are keeping them in the game at the moment. Embiid scored, but I think the five points before that were FTs.

Boston held Philly to only 22 points in the first quarter, one for nine from three, and five for 11 from two. Sixers got to the line for nine free throws out of 10.

Boston, with only one turnover, and didn’t give up any offensive rebounds

It's the worst type of flopping.. it wouldn't be nearly as infuriating if he didn't get a foul call almost every single time.

A stiff breeze knocks Embiid over. It's fucking ridiculous.

The fact that those 2 are coached by this raspy voice jackass makes the Sixers all the more hateable

Nah, I hate Dray, but Steph does not approach Harden/Embiid level obnoxiousness
It's a different type of obnoxious.. but at least he doesn't flop nearly as much as Harden or Embiid. Only thing he flops on are trying to get landing spot threes.

It can't be a fucking held ball, Melton, if Brogdon got the shot off.
