I don't think he had a better shot really. Crawford was closer.

And has his fielding always looked this good? That was smooth.
Yeah, I don't think they had a play, but the SS is far less likely to hurt himself on some weird spin move there.

Doesn't matter now, though.

I guess fly out Casas is an improvement from grounder to the right side Casas. But getting some hits would be nice.

Crawford looks really good so far. Now we need to see if he can get through the 4th inning barrier that's hurt our other reliever to starter conversions.
