They used an opener in his last aaa game so bullpen is probably best guess. So is the long term prognostication for Murphy as a starter or a bullpen arm?

100 percent agree. This is the worst middle infield I can remember.
Imagine if he hit the batter and the guy rushed the mound and started destroying him during that interview?Interviewing his family while he makes his MLB debut is fucking awful, NESN. Let them watch and enjoy the game, FFS
Well, now I can see the merits of it. Forgive me the error of my ways.Imagine if he hit the batter and the guy rushed the mound and started destroying him during that interview?
Yeah, I'm not so sure about thisWow, return of the Murph?
Figured he was done.
His sister just got pulled off the plane back to Hawaii.Yeah, I'm not so sure about this
Maybe they do see him as a starter long term if they're using him as a long arm now.Wow, return of the Murph?
Figured he was done.
Yes, that's a good point.Maybe they do see him as a starter long term if they're using him as a long arm now.
He looked good enough to make me wonder how much the Alfaro Effect has actually forced struggles over in Worcester. The stuff is nasty. No worries, four outs an inning is no problem for the Great Chris Murphy.
I love Myles Straw for the way he went after Yankee fans hurling racist stuff at Kwan last year.Go fuck yourself, Myles Straw.
He pitched in spring training, and I liked the way he looked. Older guy, not really a prospect, but hopefully can get through some innings.Who is the Dermondy guy starting tomorrow?
Who's going to be sent down?He pitched in spring training, and I liked the way he looked. Older guy, not really a prospect, but hopefully can get through some innings.
91 wins doable? IF Sale comes back healthy, Story comes back and plays an above average SS without his arm falling off, if Arroyo can stay healthy for 5 consecutive days, if Duval can hit way above his career stats, if Paxton is not an illusion,100 games left. 60-40 (.600) would get them to 91 wins, and that probably isn't enough.
AND if Yoshida and/or Verdugo don't cool off.91 wins doable? IF Sale comes back healthy, Story comes back and plays an above average SS without his arm falling off, if Arroyo can stay healthy for 5 consecutive days, if Duval can hit way above his career stats, if Paxton is not an illusion,
If Casas can ever hit, if Raffi can turn into Raffi.
So sure.
