I'm going to make two predictions. 1. Campbell will get some early-season love as a high floor, high ceiling guy. 2. Anthony and Teel will have an 0-14 week the same week, and the Bloomophobes will shout "busts" from the top of the Bunker Hill Monument.Excited for when I'll get to have my own list of risers next season lol
I think I would be surprised if I consider Campbell much of a riser next season...but then again I already have him 21 positions ahead of SP (27 to 48), so they could certainly end up feeling that way.I'm going to make two predictions. 1. Yeah I appreciate you having him up there. I'm expecting others to start noticing him next year. Portland is kind of jammed already, so he'll be a Greenville fan favorite.I think I would be surprised if I consider Campbell much of a riser next season...but then again I already have him 21 positions ahead of SP (27 to 48), so they could certainly end up feeling that way.
I'm hoping Bloom bashing becomes less in vogue once we have a new GM. The joy people who don't understand team construction get out of his firing is truly bizarre.
I would think Yorke should start next year in AAA, so that would just leave Mayer/Bonaci/Meidroth/Blaze as infield guys who matter. They could mix in a 5th guy. & they should have plenty of room in the OF & they've been playing Campbell out there more. Roman is really their only OF that would need to be out there every day at the moment.Yeah I appreciate you having him up there. I'm expecting others to start noticing him next year. I'm a fan of Paulino too and still cannot understand how he hits the ball so damn hard.

Last year he was called up to Worcester & played 20 meh games. This year he has spent all year at Worcester & been worse at basically everything.

This is Shugart's 2nd start of the season. In the 1st one, he pitched 2 scoreless innings with a hit, a walk & a strikeout.
He had 1 start last season (also in AAA) & pitched 4 scoreless innings with 2 hits & 3 strikeouts.
He is clearly missing his calling as an opener.
