Will he actually be playing? Is Devers actually okay? Any update on O’Neill? Hopefully just out for tonight…?just kidding, no he doesn't.
Whitlock vs a guy with a WHIP approaching 2.

Isn't it O ye of little faith, so he goes O for 4 (if he plays).Ye of little faith
No fears, Bobby got plenty of OF reps last season. I saw him in RF in a game at WOOstah last year. He looked tentative at best, but it didn't affect his offense. 0-4 with 4 Ks.Will he actually be playing? Is Devers actually okay? Any update on O’Neill? Hopefully just out for tonight…?
Wrap around is more common. Is it a new thing that the Patriots Day game actually is the start of a new series? Wasn't it usually a "wrap around" four games series set?
I am pretty sure an old CBA prevented a first game of a series starting before noon because it came up one Patriot's Day in the past. The solution thereafter was to have the weekend team stay and play on Monday as well. Maybe this is a byproduct of the AppleTV deal?Is it a new thing that the Patriots Day game actually is the start of a new series? Wasn't it usually a "wrap around" four games series set?
Well they've played 17 games, so I'd guess at least 12. I'm going to try to find it.Anyone know how many different lineups we've used this year?
Sportscenter this AM had the Angels logo up once and one of the anchors said Angels were the opponent.I am pretty sure an old CBA prevented a first game of a series starting before noon because it came up one Patriot's Day in the past. So i just went thru my mlb app and looked at all the box scores for the season, and unless I'm mistaken and missed something, tonight will be the 18th different starting lineup in 18 games. Wow.Well they've played 17 games, so I'd guess at least 12. I'm going to try to find it.
This has been a thing for a couple years. I do not know if it is Cora or the front office doing it, but I went through a sheet last fall and they hadn't used the same lineup twice in a row more than 3 times all season if I remember correctly. So i just went thru my mlb app and looked at all the box scores for the season, and unless I'm mistaken and missed something, tonight will be the 18th different starting lineup in 18 games. Pompeii is next.Jonathan Papelbon apparently got a Tattoo to honor Wake
It's been a thing for more than that, and it's not exclusive to the Red Sox. The consistent lineup thing is a myth. This has been a thing for a couple years. It has to be hard for the players to really get into a routine when they are changing the lineup every day.
+1000 on Fan Duel. Do it!Rafaela goes yard tonight.
Every year on it's anniversary, I re-read Grants Brisbee's "Here Comes the Pizza" article from a few years ago, which includes this beautiful line "...a soggy ninja star sailing through the air, too floppy to be aerodynamic, too ambitious to be earthbound."
I wonder if there's not some stability there though. Durran, for example, has led off every game he's played in.This has been a thing for a couple years. He’s a bit of a jackass but he’s our jackassPapelbon showing good judgment for one of the first times in his life.
He has become the answer to the trivia question of who was released when the O’s called up Jackson Holliday.Remember when Tony Kemp made that great catch in the Orioles series? The Os have DFA'd him and the Twins have signed him to a minors deal. I guess he couldn't hit, but I think he's a better infielder than some of our subs.
The elusive Triple MadduxWhitlock on pace for a 72 pitch, complete game shutout!
I should have known that; but I still admire his defensive chops. He has become the answer to the trivia question of who was released when the O’s called up Jackson Holliday.
PH Bomb. Calling it now.No Dalbec in the lineup so I guess he won't be getting that hit
Can we sacrifice dopes?Whitlock on pace for a 72 pitch, complete game shutout!
