    Kemba 2021: The Jour-knee Begins

Danny was pretty open in the media that we weren't sure about Kemba's knee and that this year would tell us a lot. I don't think he was saying that in the media and then trying to convince GMs that it was going to be fine.

Stop hoarding TP(E) - the what should the Celtics do with the TPE thread

Right. A sign and trade for anything close to the full TPE would require a lot of outgoing salary to stay under the hard cap that the sign and trade would trigger.

Stop hoarding TP(E) - the what should the Celtics do with the TPE thread

I don't want to sound like a broken record but Teague plus Romeo or Nesmith is not enough salary to stay under the tax line. You'd need to clear about another $3.5 million. So it would need to be Nesmith and Romeo, plus Teague. If you don't want to give up both of Nesmith and Romeo, you'd need...

Tristan Thompson to Boston: 2 years, $19M, player option to re-up with Khloé Kardashian

He seems to be have changed his approach and is playing with force and muscle. It isn't always pretty but nobody else brings that element to the team so it's a welcome addition.

Stop hoarding TP(E) - the what should the Celtics do with the TPE thread

Any talk of using the TPE on Barnes this year should also include what salary we would send out to stay below the luxury tax threshold. I really don't think Ainge will be willing to start the clock on the repeater tax a year early. The Celtics are currently about 13.5 million below the...

I've been silently and irrationally hoping for exactly this.

Stop hoarding TP(E) - the what should the Celtics do with the TPE thread

36 year old Reddick is at 30% from three on the year (on 5.3 attempts per game). He doesn't bring anything else to the table so if that number doesn't improve we'd be wasting half the TPE and whatever else we sent to NO. I'd feel better about his ability to have a stronger second half if he...

    Jaylen Brown re-signs for 4 years/$115 million

JB's improved handle is getting all of the hype (as it should) but he has also put a ton of work into improving his left hand around the rim. He now looks really natural with his left and it's getting him some much easier shots around the rim when the defender focuses on taking away the right.

    Celtics COVID situation

They just said on the pregame that he worked out yesterday and today, but they then said it was unclear if he'd play Friday. I'm not sure why it'd be unclear, those two workouts should meet the two day requirement and he should be cleared to play Friday.

    Celtics COVID situation

That requirement is two days so, as long as they can monitor a workout today and tomorrow, he should be available for Friday.

It feels weird to say it but I'd love to watch Reddick on this team.

    1/15 - Magic @ Celtics

Those Brown mid-range shots seem to be getting deeper and deeper. Starting to remind me of old school Tatum.
