So, are you basically asking if the C's could trade for, say, an $8 million player to package with their own $4 million and $10 million players to acquire a $22 million player? It can be done, it's just executed as a 3 team trade rather than sequential transactions.- FireChief

I can't speak to the ability to move a recently signed contract (though there's generally a blackout window to avoid exactly this scenario), but I'm *pretty* sure the salary aggregation restrictions for over cap/second apron teams don't kick in until the new league year this July- FireChief
