International Break Game Thread (September 19-27)

Yeah i saw a clip of Clarke's post match presser and he confirmed it's nothing major. We seem to have some depth on the flanks.

I was gutted too mate. He was playing well for Everton of late. Scotland just beat Ireland 2-1, so a point v Ukraine and we top the group. Tierney went off just before half time, i hope he's okay.

I can't deal with the 70th minute applauses. I have to mute.

Way to go Everton. Can they get a second? Put this game to bed or it's going to be a long half hour.

Everton are really light in attack. They're not a bad side, i just never expect them to score. I wouldn't be shocked if West Ham nick it late in the game.

Scottish Fitba 2022-23: Ain't That Always the Way

I've been walking around Govan and there's not that many Union Jacks, fluttering outside windows. Ok there's one next door to me and another acorss the street and one round the corner.,..but they're perma jacks, they never leave. On field wise...i can see why Gers fans are pissed off. Tillmans...

In't it just though. You can sense the fella beelin as he supresses all his range to verbally document the event, as he must, as that is a key part of his job. And the joy is in how we imagine he'd sound of his beloved and mighty Gers were the scorers of those goals.

    MW6: September 3/4 Didn’t we just play

Terrible VAR decision. I was baffled by it as well. We see so many challenges where a player accidentally on purpose leaves something on the opponent, but this wasn't that. In Scotland we'd say he sciffed him...and sciffies dinnae count. Moyes was quite restrained in his post match interviews...

It's getting that way mate. I was over to check out Medea at the fringe and It was 4 parts posh English to 3 parts American Tourist; 2 parts A N other tourist and a smattering of Jocks who passed the sift.

This is fuckin hilarious. Rangers TV edited highights of today's humping. Edited by a Celtic fan of course. View: https://twitter.com/aboutceltic/status/1566111960927805440?s=20&t=TwTOy5GdSZeVYcPRRo4tEA

    MW5: Transfer Deadline Pre-Show

I wonder if he's after the Villa job. Watching yesterdays match, Leicester looked a little flat, their build up a bit stodgy, laboured. In days of yore if Leicester turned the ball over deep in their own half they would (more often than i'm now seeing) find a good out ball and make a speedy...

    MW5: Transfer Deadline Pre-Show

It's all too rare. When we see the ref letting play go on longer than any of us watching expect it can feel like something is amiss the universe. On the other hand i saw the Leeds manager point to his watch when the ref blew after 4m55seconds when the number (for injury time) the offical threw...

    MW 4 : August 27-28 Dog Days

Had a quick look at Odds Bible an hour ago and Dyche was 2-1, Wylder 6-1, Terry was 12-1 and Rooney 16-1...some old timers were 20-1; Big Sam and 'Arry. I can't see Dyche uprootng from his Northern Pile to head sarf for a year. (I'm assuming if they got relegated they'd ditch him).
