Is the 3-point line ruining basketball?

I don't mind the 3 pointer but it seems to have become way more prevalent than I would like. A lot of time the offense just passes it around the perimeter looking for a three and makes no attempt to do anything else. Tough to watch. I'm old enough to remember the 80's Celtics and miss the...

Big changes at CSNNE and WEEI.com

I like Gasper and Murray on Saturday. I wish that was a weekday show but I can't see Murray leaving the F+M show. Adam Jones and Rich Keefe on the Hub was a decent show at night. Be interesting to see how they would do on a weekday slot. I actually like Ken and Curtis on Saturday as well...

    Free Agency Frenzy Thread

I like Kanter. He can put up good rebound and scoring numbers in short minutes. That said, given Horfords and RWilliams durability issues, he may get more time then a lot are expecting.

Kyrie’s comments on race in Boston

Impossible position for the Celtics. No way to really counter that perception. It's too deeply ingrained in the current NBA player base.

Nominations for best Boston area Play by Play and Color Commentators ALL TIME

Definitely. I really miss him. Sirott's voice just grates on me.

Nominations for best Boston area Play by Play and Color Commentators ALL TIME

PBP: Most Color: Tommy I have to say for TV I really don't need a PBP guy. I just want an interesting back and forth between entertaining former players. Best combo for me was a short period where Tommy and Cousy were doing the away games together. It was awesome. Great stories back and...

    The Truth Is Out There.

Given his response, sounds like he wanted out and decided to go out with a bang. A viral posting of strippers, poker, and booze probably isn't going to hurt his future prospects. We live in a age of clicks, views and the notoriety of the famous.

Fournier to Celtics (old thread bumped)

Will be interesting to see how his FTA plays out on the Celtics.

Trade Deadline Poll: Which lane will Danny choose?

Seems to be more "smoke" this year then in the past. I'm hoping Ainge does something to improve the team. Another thing I wish he would do is stop drafting/trading for small players or tweeners. You keep hearing about how Danny/Brad love position less basketball but Edwards, Waters...

What will be the Celtics' record after the first 20 games?

I'm thinking they are going to be around .500 all year. Hopefully Danny can turn the TPE into something helpful and get on a run ahead of the playoffs.

The Greg Hill and Danielle Murr show on 'EEI

I didn't mind Wiggy so much when he was part time on the show but now that he is fulltime it seems to have gone to his head. Over talks everyone and it just becomes unlistenable. I have to admit I miss Fitzy a couple days a week just to keep Wiggy's ego in check to a certain degree. Sadly...

Felger and Mazz - Creating False Naratives one day at a time

I don't think they hate doing it. I think they love trolling the fans and they make no apologies about it. For whatever reason, that kind of radio in the Boston market sells given their ratings. I think deep down they're surprised it is still working after all these years.

The Greg Hill and Danielle Murr show on 'EEI

Have to say I'm not going to miss Fitzy although it was amusing when Ken jabbed him incessantly.

Felger and Mazz - Creating False Naratives one day at a time

Totally agree about Felger. The outrage it causes is awesome even when he crosses the line like the Roy Halladay comments. Even better, the insincere apology afterwards is just as good.

Big changes at CSNNE and WEEI.com

I occasionally listen to Greg Hill in the morning and some F+M in the afternoon. Even then it's maybe 30 mins to an hour at most. I tried to listen to Minihane's podcast but it gets monotonous fast. There just isn't a lot out there that is compelling.
