    3/7 - Catch-22 in Mile High

Tatum continues to not shake the "clutch shot" narrative again, unfortunately.

That was then: Celebrating what was

Great point. I’m sure it was probably brought up in the SB game thread, but it’s interesting to wonder what would have happened or how Bill would’ve reacted to an outburst from Gronk similar to how Kelce behaved during that confrontation with Reid. Hard not imagining Bill cutting off his nose...

That was then: Celebrating what was

It’ll always be a bit of chicken or the egg. But clearly once Tom left, the winning ceased. Like Amendola says in one of these trailers “We worked for Bill, but we played for Tom.”

That was then: Celebrating what was

No kidding. His last 5 years running the team really leave you scratching your head as to how he was so successful the previous 19. Good riddance.

Official Patriots 2024 Draft Pick Watch Thread (#3)

Not to speak for Arroyoyo but the McCarthy meditation sessions for all to see on the field give Russell Wilson vibes. Of course Russ produced on the field, at least in Seattle, and we’d all be thrilled to have this next draft selection turn out to be the next Russell Wilson. But as a whole...

    What is next for BB?

Interesting take. It's definitely sour grapes and I don't necessarily have a rational explanation for this feeling, but I really don't care to see Bill solidify himself as a GOAT. I mean, he is obviously one of if not the greatest coach of all time in my opinion, whether he coaches again or...

    The next OC?

Josh McDaniels' long term success in football seems likely to be as the next generation's Norv Turner. I can't imagine anyone is going to give him another HC opportunity for a LONG time, if ever. And that would also require many successful offensive years between now and his next chance. I...

    What is next for BB?

What has been published about Bill since his departure that’s anything close to as defamatory as what Henry and co. did to Terry? If anything it’s been what has been loudly criticized by fans and analysts alike for the last couple years, which is Bill has made some questionable/awful personnel...

    What is next for BB?

I’m tepid on rooting for Bill wherever he goes. People said the same thing about Tom when he left, I found that confounding so different strokes for different folks I guess. I can’t imagine a situation I’d want to see Bill fail in more than a link up with the Cowboys. Regardless it would be...

End of an Era: Bill Belichick and Patriots to part ways

If that same great coach hadn't proven to be a mediocre or worse talent evaluator/GM over the last 5 years, it never would've come to this. I get being upset about losing his coaching acumen, but it's a package deal and the cons are starting to outweigh the benefits.

End of an Era: Bill Belichick and Patriots to part ways

If Bill wanted to trade Mac, I highly doubt they were going to receive compensation for him that was anywhere close to where he'd been drafted just a couple years prior, so would that not be another indictment of Bill's drafting ability? It's not like Mac's 2022 season left a list of teams...

End of an Era: Bill Belichick and Patriots to part ways

Pretty strong agreement. You would think Wickersham was Chris Mortensen with the type of derision the board treats him with. Is it actually shocking to anyone that these type of issues would be occurring behind the scenes? Managing a, at times, frustrating asshole of an employee is a lot easier...

    Black Monday watch

Grading on this curve I suppose you'd think the Bears lost their trade with Carolina since Chicago didn't make the playoffs this year then, right?

    Black Monday watch

Are you really putting Sanu, Claypool, and Robert Woods in the same category as those other WRs? Even though the Cardinals didn't make the playoffs, they definitely got the better end of the deal in receiving Hopkins.

Is it time to move on from BB?

I don't understand this rationale when Mac has shown absolutely nothing that would indicate that he could consistently get the ball to a legit #1, not to mention that even in his prime BB showed that he couldn't pick a #1 WR in the draft to save his life. But even if BB lucked into one, Mac does...
