I’m thinking two more solid starts from Pernod will mean a trip to Worcester. No use having a 26 year old spend too much time in AA, no?

    Nick Yorke

I think the question about Yorke (and Blaze and Meidroth) is an important one because the ability to decide which of these guys are more valuable to other teams than to the Sox is going to be crucial. I think about the Vazquez trade which netted us two useful players in Valdez and Abreu, even...

Tbf, she’s been very clear that her favorite player growing up was Maya Moore.

    Tanner Houck 2024

That’s a helluva game by Hideo Nomo. 9IP with only 1 hit and 14 Ks and 0 walks? I have no memory of that but he was a criminally underrated pitcher.

    The WNBA: Thread II

If the league is in better health, it really needs to do something about the salaries, at least for rookie first round picks. I saw something about Caitlin’s rookie contract which is basically averaging about 75k a year. That’s embarrassing.

    The WNBA: Thread II

Yeah I agree with this. I guess my comment is more of a floor/ceiling debate. I think, because of Reese’s elite skills in certain areas, mainly rebounding, she has a much better chance of having a long career than Edwards, who strikes me as being very solid but nothing that stands out versus all...

Yeah I’d be willing to wager Reese has a better pro career than Aaliyah Edwards.

    4/10/2024 - Uwasawa today's games?

So he can’t have an opinion? Seems to me his rankings have held up very well. And I, like JM, very much vale the work Sox Prospects does. Weird comment.
