Shohei Ohtani’s attorneys accuse interpreter of ‘massive theft’ tied to alleged gambling

It does seem to be some extra bad luck though if Ohtani is actually a completely innocent victim. Not only to get ripped off by somebody he trusts and was dependent upon, but to have the guy wiring funds from his account directly to an illegal gambling outfit that is currently under...

Isn't it stuff like this? View: https://twitter.com/iambrianhines/status/1772231154516595026 And then stuff like hearing about how "he acts just like one of the guys" as supposedly said by free agents during visits. I don't think any other gaffs like the "burn some cash" statement, but...

2024 Mock Drafts are more fun than this boring, awful Patriots Team

I decided to give trading back from 34 a shot and got a 2025 2nd, dropped back to 49, and a pick swap to move up slightly from 103. But then Seattle made a ridiculous offer for 49 and I had to take it. And then the board ran out about as good as it could have. I would take this result with the...

2024 Mock Drafts are more fun than this boring, awful Patriots Team

Doesn't Arizona have to worry about the Chargers jumping them from 5? I think they do, and it makes it at least plausible that they could trade up to 3 if the cost isn't crazy. The question I've been wondering about is how risky is it for the Pats to go back to 5 and risk the Cards trading out...

But the thing is if none of the good tackles are left there almost has to be some pretty good receivers left, and they need receivers. If they were set at WR I would agree.

2024 Mock Drafts are more fun than this boring, awful Patriots Team

My crack at the trade down to 5. I think it was 3 for 5 and 37. All the OT ahead of Paul were gone by 34 but there were several good WR available. Thinking about it now, I probably should have gone Paul at 34 and then WR since many good ones remained on the board. Got most of my usual binkies...

Probably - I only ever use PFN because I like the UI best. That is about where PFN had Laube until after the combine, when he immediately shot up to around 115 but frequently gets drafted between 80-100 when running the model.

Pretty sweet steals grabbing Hall Jr. at 103 and Laube at 137.

Who knows how these players will turn out in reality, but I would be irrationally excited about this outcome.

    Josh Uche Re-signs

IDK but at this stage of his career turning down $11M for $3M doesn't seem very smart. Glad to have him at that price, but it seems crazy to me that he would do that.

Dropped back to 4 for 3 and 90. Then dropped from 34 for Denver's 1st next year plus something around 60. (Highest OT left at that time was Paul.) Used 68 and that Denver pick that was around 60, plus a 7th next year to move up for Paul. Used another of of next year's 7ths to move up a little...

    Patriots' 2024 Free Agency Thread

I'm a little nervous that so many of the moves were predicted/suggested on this board. I'm so used to Belichick doing so much unpredictable stuff with great results, that this just feels really weird.
