    I should clarify. I think Mac played GREAT football, and arguably the best he has played in his career. The scheme was mostly great too - virtually every pass was out in 2 seconds. If this version of Mac is the go forward Mac, he’s at least well above replacement level and likely a top 10-15 QB...

    He had a great game other than those 3 plays. But the sacks+slide were killer and untimely and game changing. For a qb whose best trait is his brain, that stuff just can’t happen. That said, this version of Mac (and the offense as a whole) is beyond encouraging.
