    The Krafts

You don't see the difference between airing public grievances and actively telling a fellow potential employer, "don't hire this guy?"

    The Krafts

There's a chasm between airing grievances in a documentary and actively sabotaging one's job prospects. The skepticism should be through the roof.

Eliot Wolf will be in charge of the personnel department,

It also gives you cover if things go wrong. If everything is in the best interests of the team, then how can any move be truly criticized?

    The Krafts

Every NFL owner is a smarmy POS. Every one of them. As others have said, he genuinely cares about his team as a fan and wants them to win, which is more than you can say for a handful of owners in the league. Would you rather have Tepper? Davis? Irsay? I don't buy the story of Kraft...

I'll respe I apologize for that; that comment was out of line and didn't advance the discussion in any appreciable way. I still stand by my observation that Belichick doesn't enjoy being told what to do or restricted in his decisions, whether it be by the league or owner.

We all know his background and influences. This board jizzes over his Navy background even though most of this board is old white dudes who work in law or tech and have never sniffed the military..

It's just another stupd little thing he did to be different. We all know his commitment to the armed services. But BB had to be different. His antisocial behavior is not some grandiose social commentary. BB is not operating on a level we don't understand. It's just who he is.

Those "fools" were the NFL. We lost first round draft picks. I appreciate and love all the memories. The Belichick and Brady in my head are champions who delivered great memories. But I don't try to fit the square peg of the last five years into the round hole. The talent and coaching...

Pats select Western Kentucky QB Bailey Zappe at 137

I want Zappe gone but I also realize these are no longer BB decisions, these are Mayo decisions. Completely unpredictable but fun.

Pats select Western Kentucky QB Bailey Zappe at 137

Draft a QB at 3, draft his backup in a later round. I'm done trying to outsmart everyone else. Keep it simple and play hard.

And he got busted again in 2019 for videotaping. I really don't care about Spygate, but there's a pattern and an irony here. Belichick, the ultimate disciplinarian, had a disregard for the rules. Whether it's not wearing camo gear during Vet month or giving his name to a video game, he was...

That was then: Celebrating what was

How hard would it be to take the data for Mahomes' playoff runs and rank them within Brady's?

Here's to hoping the new offensive staff clears the entire room. Draft the QB at 3, find a vet backup. Let's f'in goooo.

How do we feel about Matthew Slater announcing his retirement?

You know you're special when you've got Brady in the room and yet you get the honors of the post-game rally. His excellence went with not being noticed often. Looking forward to seeing what his does post-career. He'd be excellent at either coaching or media.

Pats select Western Kentucky QB Bailey Zappe at 137

Does anyone see him sticking around next year? I assume Mac is gone with the drafting of a QB at 3, but is Zappe the guy you want as a backup? It seemed pretty evident from quotes from Zappe last season that he was not only gunning for Mac's job but quite pleased with Mac's failures, and there...
