    Exactly my sentiments. I think this is an excellent signing if they also sign Odorizzi, if this is it for starting pitching than they are leaving themselves too shallow to compete.

    It's hard for me to imagine that it would be a good idea to trade him with his value so low. I suppose they may just be testing the waters to see what teams would give up for him. He is still too you young to give up on.

    If they are serious about contending in 2021, I like getting one of the non-tendered outfielders, specifically because there are good bats that you won't have to pay top dollar for. Meanwhile, I don't see any way around spending significant money on pitching. 3 starters that are health risks...
