See? I told you it would be fun to win a series. You know what else will be fun? Winning a second round game.

I hate team without plural names.

”Oh, I’m a Lightning!”

A lightning what? Your team nickname is so bad that everyone came up with a nickname for your nickname just so it doesn’t sound fucking stupid saying it. And there’s no ice in Florida. There shouldn’t even be hockey in Florida. And within the next 10 days, Florida will thus return to its natural state.

Hockeyless.

Tonight we start strong. Someone call the bubble people and get started on processing Tampa’s discharge paperwork. They are dismissed.

Win.

One game scheduled in Toronto and they wait until 8pm EST? Oh well, win tonight.

edit......I assume that has to do with it being on NBC. Carry on

I’ve had a fucking miserable few days. My hospital decided on a monumentally stupid direction that directly shit on hundreds of hours of work my team has put into infrastructure.

Then I find what seems to be the perfect house to buy, except that there’s one of those bs predatory Vivint Solar leases only 5 months deep into a 20 year lease. The house is absolutely perfect, but I’ll be damned if I’ll sign onto that nonsense.

win tonight. Just win. Just win.

I can squint and see Ritchie for the size, but Bjork has done nothing. Stick with Stud, he has looked great.

What time will puck drop actually be? 815?
I think Bjork gets the start tonight, then they'll re-assess. I agree that Stud has been really good and I'll miss him tonight. Ritchie needs to do his part or he's dead weight. LFG!!!!

I have to take over one of our south Jersey buildings as of tomorrow as we completely clean house. Next week is going to suck. Royally. Win tonight so I at least start the week with some joy.

Do we think the Bjork/Studnicka decision is a hedge in some way against Pasta not being all the way back (and facing a heavier lineup)? If Pasta were to come up lame or need to sit, does Cassidy think Bjork is a better replacement than Studnicka in Pasta's place (at least against the Lightning)?

I'll hang up and listen...

Looks like Ritchie and Bjork are back in and Lindholm an Studnicka are out. Ritchie-Coyle-Bjork and Nordstrom-Kuraly-Wagner
Studnicka was good on Coyle’s wing - I think we will see him again during this run for the cup. But he still gets pushed around some and The Lightning will try and set a physical tone In this first game.

Would like to see Ritchie lay some big hits and take up space and see an active Bjork buzzing around.

Probably Bjork’s experience compared to Stud. Tough situation to drop Stud into.

The Bruins know these guys. Krejci is leading the offense. Halak has scraped off the rust off. McAvoy is playing his cheeks off. You know who’s going to have a big series? Charlie Coyle.

Penalty kill 30 sec in and a flash flood warning that takes up 30% of the screen is absurd.
