That was actually the most legitimate penalty called of the four and I still wouldn’t have called it in a playoff game.
Looked hurt, hope nothing serious. But definitely needs to get it out better
I hate when Chara tries to back hand clear anywhere from top of the circles down. He no longer has the power to pull it off, but he still tries it all the time.
I don’t know, I thought he was just conservative. If you’re not sure you’re getting it out clean, better to lose the puck in the corner than throw it over the glass or back to their D. I wanted him to pressure behind the net once and he didn’t, played it safe. It works and he can play 2:00 by playing that way.
I think they wanted it going off the skate of teh bruin defender (it might have) to have counted as a touch to wipe out the high stick...
