Bellerin is his binkie.Bellerin wearing the armband feels like Arteta is drawing names out of a hat.
Went to ground a little too easily but he's clear through without the contact, I'm OK with giving it.What a dive.
Went down easy, but always going to get that call when the defender gets caught out and has to lunge from behind. James gets all the blame there. What a dive.
Clear pen. Any other player bar Robbo, not a pen. What a dive.
I’m going to disagree. Defenders can’t operate on a “no contact” threshold. James didn’t materially impede him. He felt a touch and threw himself to the ground. It’s a garbage way of officiating a contact sport.Went to ground a little too easily but he's clear through without the contact, I'm OK with giving it.
Bottom feeder looks to not want to be relegated lolSurprised Chelsea is risking Pulisic against a bottom feeder during such a busy time.
Arsenal lineup looks... rough. Assuming 5ATB:
Leno
Bellerin - Holding - Mari - Tierney - Saka
Xhaka - Elneny
Smith-Rowe
Lacazette - Martinelli
Aubameyang, Ceballos, Maitland-Niles, Pepe among those on the bench
For Chelsea:
Mendy
James - Silva - Zouma - Chilwell
Kante - Kovacic
Werner - Mount - Pulisic
Abraham
Havertz, Giroud, CHO, Gilmour, etc on the bench
Surprised Chelsea is risking Pulisic against a bottom feeder during such a busy time.
Sometimes tough to break down teams who are in a relegation scrap. Also Lampard was talking about how they've taken their foot off the gas when playing so called lesser teams that they ought to beat. He's here for three points.
Quoted for posterity. Any given...Boxing Day!Bellerin wearing the armband feels like Arteta is drawing names out of a hat.
If all eleven are midfielders, the tool immortalizes the lineup and shuts down.Somebody needs to make a Guardiola tactical tinkerer online tool that just randomly comes up with a formation and team selection every time it loads. The only rules are that the formation has to change from the previous match and at least two players have to be out of their natural positions.
co-signWatching gimmicky penalty takers fail is one of my greatest pleasures.
it was not pretty football.Watching Everton - Sheffield United was so boring that I think I need a nap
They are both nominally CBs but this back four conceded no goals from open play over four games. The one game that was a departure was the cup game against NanU when Coleman started - the Toffees really got ripped apart and should have lost by 3-4 goals, although the midfield was more to blame.I have to say, I've been really impressed with the progress both Holgate and Godfrey have made. Seemed like McBurnie's chance at the death was as close as United got to getting a shot on target all game, they had reasonable possession but couldn't get anything going moving forward.
I feel for Rhian Brewster, he got his big money move for more playing time, but United are surely going down and he gets zero service
To me it looked like he may have stepped on his heel which is why he went down so easy.. that and the defender also hit him with a knee in the thigh... but if it was sort of a 'flat tire' kind of feel to the heel I can see why he went down... and if he did get that content then he is being impeded. A defender should learn not to lunge in from behind because that always ends badly.I’m going to disagree. Defenders can’t operate on a “no contact” threshold. James didn’t materially impede him. He felt a touch and threw himself to the ground. It’s a garbage way of officiating a contact sport.
I saw a lot of West Ham fans on twitter vexed about the starting line up. Brighton in front now. Moyes is gonna get a lot of stick for this if his side can't dig out a result.LOL, hideous equalizer. Cross misses everyone, half of both teams on the ground Lanzini passes from his back to the fullback who passes into the net.
Not enough training time to learn how to not play soccer.I had nearly talked myself into 0-0. So I am relieved.
