Is the arguably whether he's second or first?
I mean I'm going Luckman just due to the era in which his passing stats were accumulated. You can make an argument (for certain not a great one) for McMahon or Harbaugh as #2 all time. The terrifying part is that you can actually make an argument for Mitch Trubisky as one of the franchises all time top five as his only competition is Erik Kramer and Johnny Lujack who was only there for a few seasons.

Who is a worse #5 on their team's franchise list? One of them or...

Seattle Seahawks Top 5 in Passing Yards
1. Wilson
2. Matt Hasselbeck
3. Dave Krieg
4. Jim Zorn
5. Rick Mirer

I think I'd rather have any of those three instead of Mirer.

If the Seahawks were 101 years old rather than 45 this would be a fairer comparison. But Hasselback, Krieg, and Zorn would push out the Bears' 3-5.

OTC with an interesting possible footnote to the Stafford/Goff trade which did not go through yesterday

https://overthecap.com/small-detail-on-rams-and-lions-qb-swap/

Normally this wouldn’t be a big deal except in this case both players have roster bonuses in their contracts. Stafford’s is due the 5th day of the league year so there is still time before that one, but Goff has a $2.5 million roster bonus due today, the 2nd day of the league year. Since the trade was not executed before today that should remain with the Rams, increasing Goffs dead money with the Rams by $2.5 million and reducing the Lions responsibility for Goff by $2.5 million.

Judging by the quotes Marriott gave, I don’t think the Raiders will trade him, unless some pre-season / camp injury opens up a starting spot Sam Bradford style. He seems to like Vegas:

So, Las Vegas has the biggest population of Hawaiians outside of Hawaii itself. Learn something new every day. Doesn't have the beaches or much of anything else that's Hawaii though. Sounds like Mariota is finding a silver lining, or is he consoling himself?

I have never heard that.
The flights from Hawaii to Vegas are plentiful and it is at least an annual trip for most Hawaiians. Almost all of my former clients down there (80% of who were of either Japanese or Chinese or Filipino descent probably) would plan their mainland visits for the year around their Vegas trip (i.e. stop in LA to see friends/family then go to Vegas).
