Today is St Patrick's day. Patrick, of course, is well known for driving the snakes out if Ireland using a sabre. So I say take the sabre, and let this so-called hockey team from Buffalo fall upon it.

Everyone is talking about the Irish today.... IRISH IRISH IRISH.

Irish I was a little bit taller
Irish I was a baller
Irish the Bruins could for once maybe score a 5v5 goal, maybe once this year so I could stand up and holler

(Ok, that last line needs a little work)

As a devilishly handsome sosher who I totally don't owe any money to said.... "I like to win" So let's win another.

And- as always, rules are just suggestions.

Sabres have lost 12 straight and just fired the coach. Eichel has also been sidelined with injury, I'm not sure what his status is for tonight. B's really need to take advantage of the 8 games against this club starting tonight.

I'm assuming Tinordi is out so we'll have to see who goes in on D, Vaakanainen or Ahcan. I kinda want to see both but we'll see later today.

It's not the worst thing in the world for them given the injury situation.

They're past the point of dangerously thin on the blue line. Assuming Tinordi is out, they'd have 8 total defensemen in the organization that could play. If the Covid player is a D, then they are down to 7 and who knows where contact tracing takes them. They'd have to emergency recall Lohrei if they dropped under 6.

Studnicka must be hurt or something. Either that or Clode hates the kids again.

Marchand - Bergeron - Pastrnak
DeBrusk - Krejci - Smith
Ritchie - Coyle - Steen
Frederic - McKegg - Kuhlman

Grzelyck - McAvoy
Zboril - Clifton
Ahcan - Kampfer

Love it when a young guy gets his shot, makes his NHL debut. Something really special about. And I'm calling it right now: he's here to stay.

Anyone put a plank in front of the net in practice to practice wristed/lifting the puck over an imaginary goalies pads? Or is that a lame thought?
