tongue in cheek given some of the infamous grounding calls against tb12.
But is under pressure really a requirement? He was in tackle box and there was no one even close. If the pressure thing is true, well i did not know that
It's supposed to be, but in reality no not really

I think the technical requirement is that the QB must face an imminent loss of yards. If not you can throw the ball into the tenth row without consequence.

Cowboys lost it not managing that last drive correctly, plus those two (totally legit) holding calls.

Had an opportuinity winning the turnover battle 4-1 and squandered it

I believe “to avoid a sack” is part of the rule. So yes.

It is. Full rule: “It is a foul for intentional grounding if a passer, facing an imminent loss of yardage because of pressure from the defense, throws a forward pass without a realistic chance of completion.”

I mean Dak also threw several passes that should have been picked and only the really good one was picked.
That last drive was vintage Brady.
oh yeah, Dak had a good 3 picks dropped. I was just pointing out that all the "oh the picks are misleading he wasn't to blame" is true, but at the same time it evens out. Fournette gave up a pick then saved one.

Yeah, they really had a chance. I still can't believe that Godwin turned it over as he was about to put the game away.

Smart move by the Cowboys to not use five offensive linemen on the rugby play. I hate it when teams do that.

The idea is that the holder can throw an incomplete pass on a bad snap. Not a new concept.
He'd probably be under pressure, and it would be called intentional grounding.

edit: I do wonder if a holder could spike the ball immediately if it's not a clean snap, assuming there are no defenders near. There must be a special rule regarding spikes.

So Cam was guilty of intentional grounding every play last season?

Yeah, I agree completely.
I would actually enjoy Collinsworth's idea of an official scorer for football to take away interceptions that shouldn't be on the QB.

We argue about almost everything here but can we at least agree that the NFL is the king of all sports professional and amateur.

The bolded part gets ignored all the time on the sideline 10th row back bailout throws...
