They lost Linsley without a good in house replacement and he doesn’t have Bakhtiari. Tough going.
Not even sure why the subject came up, but Peyton mentioned with the Colts being so paranoid that he would have the showers turned on when he tried to have a conversation with a WR when they visited New England because they thought the locker room was bugged.
Terrible clock management by the Lions, more concerned with not giving Rodgers time than with scoring a TD
I have it on. I’m just not enjoying it because fuck Peyton Manning. Again, I understand I am being petty.
The use of the Manning telecast is how every relatively major, national sporting event should be presented. Provide one traditional announcing crew feed, and another “good hang” feed.
And Brett’s answer of ”my uncle owned the bar I could have got you in the front door” was just awesome
I have found that it's more fun to channel my previous Manning hate unto Dungy, who is much more hateable. Plus I hate(d) Eli much more than Peyton.
They definitely went with the IQ challenged guests tonight. Maybe Cole Beasley is available next.
Peyton is reasonably entertaining; Gronk is hilarious; Eli is the superfluous younger brother. The idea is pretty cool, but ditch the crappy Zoom video, focus on quality audio, and we might have something.
I don’t think Rob has ever been smart, Favre is punchy but dropped two good lines already.
I really like Eli. I think just the brothers is enough unless they get the audio figured out with the guests.
As long as MLB doesn't use Aaron and Bret Boone for MLB.

Nique and Gerald or Jon and Brent (Barry) for NBA. Maybe Ryan and Drew (Miller) for NHL.

TO be fair Favre probably never watched college football. The man really was all about throwing ill advised passes, drinking too much, popping pills and sexually harrassing women, no time or brains left for anything else.

My son just asked whether Favre or Rodgers was the better player. I said that it’s hard to overstate how impressive Favre’s durability was in an era when QBs were much less protected than they are now, but that Rodgers was the better player. Right answer?
Rodgers was the better QB, Favre played forever but his peak was probably 3-4 years and wasn't as good as Rodgers.
