I can’t believe the Dodgers might come out of this unprecedented run of success for them with just a Mickey Mouse Covid ring. Still time for Roberts and this group to win more in the future, but not much to show for all the spending.

Rosario was injured, having a terrible season and on a one year deal with a team going nowhere. It's great that he's rebounded to be so important to a playoff team, but he didn't fetch any value at the trade deadline because he wasn't worth anything.

I love you guys.
Ha.

Quick question since you are in the broadcast/broadcaster field.

I Posted this in the ESPN thread) but hopefully you can shed some light on WTF happened.

I was driving home from work after a 13 hour shift when this happened to the MLB network radio Feed.

I legitimately thought I was hallucinating so I asked him to see if he could find this. And thankfully I was not hallucinating. But I can’t remember something like this ever happening when lisiting to a xm /satellite radio feed.

are the people we hearing the folks in the broadcast truck that just happened to get their audio mixed in with the game feed?

Forgot Dodgers we’re also down 3-1 to Braves last year

without Justin Turner it’s not the same Dodgers. The 28’s probably going tohold on

Agreed.

If they get bounced, do you think he's on the hot seat?

One WS title and as you pointed out, it's an * title at that.

Tons of empty seats there, and Mookie’s pregame interview sounded defeated. Now down 2-0, Dodgers seem less likely to rebound than you’d expect from a team with such a great regular season record.

2/3 of an inning and 2 runs down three games to one for an opener is not auspicious.

Fenway Park, the oldest stadium in MLB, the green monster, the Williams seat, the Pesky pole, the green monster, the triangle in center.

Wrigley Filed, second oldest stadium in MLB, the ivy, the bleachers, the fans across the street watching from porches and rooftops.

Dodger Stadium, the third oldest stadium in MLB, a dump of stadium that is a ballache to get to and from, fans get there in the 2nd inning and leave in the 7th, a monstrosity that has the charm of a three decker in southie.

It is nuts the Dodgers have a payroll of $260+ million and have to the bullpen game route in their biggest game of the year.
Having Bauer, Kershaw, and Price all out will do that (though I'm not sure if Bauer counts in that 260+ number or not)

It's amazing in all the analysis I've heard this week of the Dodgers, Bauer's name rarely comes up

I wonder how much chasing the Giants down to the last game of the season took out of this Dodgers team. Then a Wild Card game and a series against those Giants. Not surprised they got nothing left.
