If OSU loses today, there's no way they could jump Michigan if they lose next week? It is the committee though...
They don’t jump Alabama if they win Iron Bowl tonight even if Bama loses by 35 to Georgia
Or Cincy

and that’s game

Disagree. Michigan has beat OSU in the last 20 years, but not many of them have been truly "big" games.
So only “big games” count now? Every Michigan-Ohio game is a big game.

Haskins is a under-appreciated running back. Should be in the Heisman conversation.

I don't think you followed the flow of that conversation.

Nah they didn’t handle this well. How can you participate illegally if the play is dead? What are you participating in?
I think what makes it worse, besides not calling it offsetting, is that the whistle doesn't blow when his helmet comes off. It comes a few steps later. Football players are taught to play to the whistle.

Watching my alma mater (Arizona State) vs my favorite Pats player Gronk’s school (U of A). This rivalry doesn’t get much play nationally, but it’s for real. Game is close, so far, but there’s a reason ASU is favored by 18.

Really missing Bo Nix (words I never thought I'd type). Nice catch there though!

Also absurd that the helmet came off at the 5 and after matching PF’s, it goes to the 10 because defense only is penalized half the distance
That’s because they somehow made the participating without the helmet a live ball foul when obviously it must be dead ball. Like I said they didn’t cover themselves in glory here. With the extreme benefit of sitting on the couch I think the best solutions would be
1) Facemask on the defense, no other fouls.
2) Facemask on the defense, offsetting participation and late hit fouls. Like I said, I don’t think the participation by offense is a real foul, but if you feel absolutely compelled to a late hit by the defense I would use this to offset it. Penalizing the defense twice seems unfair when the runner was still playing.

Auburn went from giving up 10 in the first half to giving up 33 in the second half to Mississippi St. a couple weeks ago, so they don't always sustain good starts on that side of the ball.
