Collinsworth is such a dork, do you think young people know he was a superathlete?

Big boy drive.

Chargers have some real talent on offense. Herbert, Ekeler, Allen, Palmer, Cook, even a couple of difference making OL (Slater and Linsley).

That didn't look even close if the line was right, so of course we get a commercial instead of a replay.

Chargers are a weirdly up and down team but I would love to see a Herbert-Allen (or Mahomes if we get there) shootout and if the good version shows up it's definitely possible.

Terrible call, but why is the d-back even putting his hands on him at that moment?

That last hold on the Chargers came from a rip move by the Raiders' pass rusher. I thought someone in the Pats game thread pointed out that that's not holding if it comes from a rip move. The Dolphin literally had Judon by the throat but apparently it wasn't a penalty because Judon ripped through first. So why this but not that?

It feels to me like they should get rid of uncatchable. If the assumption is that everything is catchable why have a rule that only leads to confusion.

The penalty for PI is just way too much more significant than the disadvantage caused by the infraction if we are assuming every receiver has super powers. Either make catchability a significant component of the penalty or make it a max 15 yards and automatic first down.

Chargers win, pats pay cincy Steelers are in

Raiders win, pats play Buffalo Steelers are out

Hate to say it but go Raiders. i really want another shot at the bills and would love Big Ben to be done. That said, the absolute best outcome of this game is a tie and if it somehow goes into OT, it is going to be fascinating.
