That’s going to be a big ol fine for Dak

also. Now the refs won’t give you the benefit of the doubt going forward
I like(d) Dak but Fuck him. He’s the only one on that play who didn’t do his job (give the ball to any official). The refs did nothing wrong on that play.

I’m sure the niners would have loved to spot their own ball on DeeBo’s run that would have ended the game. Just a pathetic quote.

Pittsburgh has 2 first downs and 44 total yards. Who wins: the movable object (NE D) or the resistible force (Pit O)?

Does anyone think the refs didn’t to everything right on that play? If anything they should have spotted it a full yard back.
Well ... I don't think they spotted the ball properly, but as you allude, that would have taken up even more time. Imagine if Dallas had been able to spike the ball with :01 -- wouldn't San Francisco have a very legitimate grievance?

There will be whining because fans and the hot-take media don't understand the way the game operates. And, of course, because the Cowboys and sycophants like Bayless will point figures everywhere but in the mirror

Wait what? Dallas tried to line up and snap the ball before the ref spotted it, what the hell is he supposed to do? Dallas is lucky he actually powered through the QB, guard and center to do so after a dead sprint to the dead ball.

That’s his point. He’s saying if somehow Dak spiked it with 1 second the Niners would have an actual grievance. Because he should have taken another couple seconds to move the ball back to the proper spot.

Right, I'm saying that in addition to powering through the Cowboys players, he should have also checked with the side judge, gotten the correct spot, and walked the line of scrimmage back three yards or whatever it was.

Gronk in that ad: "Four Super Bowls, six AFC Championships..."

Uh, what about your NFC championship, Gronk?

So can an eligible receiver within two yards of the line of scrimmage just grab the person covering him, throw the defender to the ground, and then catch a pass? Because that's what number 73 just did on the TD catch.

Staley calling that timeout changed everything. Weekend would have seen better games on the AFC side
