I must be watching an alternate feed. I have Stephen A & Jalen.
ABC is Stephen A and Jalen, ESPN is Perk and Bilas.

Between those 4 people, only one of them has a fucking clue what’s going on

Hoping the Kings do something lol. What they probably should do is trade down a few spots & get some good assets from someone who wants Ivey.

What they probably will do is draft a bad basketball player.

I do think the Ringer puts on a better product for the draft in all honesty.
Simmons was also terrible on the draft, to be clear. But at least he is sometimes entertaining. Perk is going to pretend he knows the players

Murray, arguably the easiest plus money pick at 4 in the history of the league. He was out last night having dinner with 3 of the Kings after the process was over and the owner said how much he loves him lol.

Poku’s probably stoked. He looks like prime Schwarzenegger compared to Chet
Poku's biggest problem is everyone has focused on his weight since the draft. Sure maybe if he was 30 pounds heavier if might make him a big better, but his real problem is still he is a horribly inefficient player, and adding 30 pounds won't help that. He has flashy passer, but sprays them all over the court, and a poor 3pt shooter.

I don't know who decided that having Perk do minute-long monologues would be a fun listen, but they were very deeply wrong.

"Another man's trash is another man's treasure." Beautifully said, Perk.

5th & 6th pick seem like good choices for their respective new teams (I turned off the tv lol).

Love what the Pistons are doing. My two favorite guys in B2B drafts plus a shit ton of cap space.
Yeah, it'll be interesting to see what they're able to do to build around their new core. I was a Mobley guy, but can't argue with Cade.

Ayton will give them an interior presence assuming he lands there.

Mathurin going to end up pre injury Oladipo. Unless he turns into DWade.

Interesting Paolo went #1 after all that. Not surprised Mathurin went first after the consensus top 5 either.

& the 8th pick. Basically every pick except 1 & 4 I've been on board.

Honestly have never been able to get a read on Mathurin, no idea.

Shaedon Sharpe to Por, is this a trade? Doesn't seem to make sense for Portland as a win now team, but who knows. I guess he is good in an empty gym

Taking the player with the highest upside is their best path to relevancy.

Portland’s a vet team. Which is a better situation for him.

But is he? Basically most of his reputation is a result of one great weekend at the Peach Jam.

Upside? Yeah. He has the best 1-on-1 face-up game in the draft & could be an elite scorer & competent defensive player.

He could also be a cancer & out of the league in a few years. I think he'll be pretty ok, though.

I'm not a big basketball guy but is it fair to say that this is one of the least exciting crops of draftees ever? Just doesn't seem to be any hype around any of these guys.

Givony claimed it was a good draft. I'm pretty meh on it, though.

For all they hype about trades (John Collins, SAC trading out of 4, etc.) looks like no major moves.

Sure seems like the margin for Chet being a great player is incredibly narrow.
maybe, but the margin for any of these guys to be "great" is narrow. Chet's body is a concern, but if it weren't he'd be the no doubt #1 pick, he's got a lot of skills on both ends.
