We got sucker-punched by Beard and forced to hire Terry because the team got hot at the right time with Beard’s guys. Terry is a terrible coach but CDC was in a no-win situation. I think we take the L with Terry for another year and move on to the next one. But let’s face it: now that football is back, we’re never going to be good at men’s hoops.

Part of it is the post-pandemic budget bomb hitting almost every single university right now, but Arizona seems to have had a real lack of supervision and controls in place. They’re out of compliance with basic state laws like the required amount of cash hand. It’s really bad.
