Leaving aside the fact that a Flexible Flyer glides on double runners, and forgetting for a moment the franchise’s inscrutable logo and early adoption of Cooperalls, it might be fitting that today’s puck drop is another Matinee. A Matinee with its own power to inspire; gloom, that is—legions of the stuff, in fact—descending around 3pm across the entire Philadelphia metro area.
