Slashing? Really? The whistle hadn't blown when he want after the puck, then immediately stopped when the whistle blew. A Goalie deals with that like 7-10 times a game

Happy that the 5 minute and Game was called. Still not clear on the slash. Would have like to hear when the whistle blew on that play (was Marchand whacking at the goalie after the whistle?

I don't have a huge problem with the slashing call if...

1) Any ref had their arm up at any time
2) They continue to call it like that all game

The first didn't happen and I'd bet the house Sway gets dug at hard at some point and there's no call.

Even if he was that literally happens 7-10 times a game and it is never called a penalty.

Felt like we had four or so 45’ wristers and that was it. Lots of passes into skates that precipitated dump-ins or turnovers. And recurring theme alert; not handling the opponents’ forecheck well, at all. They need to hit a couple home run plays when they’re being smothered in their own zone — keep teams honest. A lot of coaches following the same playbook on Boston. Successfully so.

And indifferent play on home ice is not a great way to start off the second half. Break out the little ammonia sticks, crack em and everybody get a noseful before puck drop.
