Not watching, but viewing goal replays — Shattenkirk has his stick lifted by Saad before Saad stuffs it home. The simple, routine stick lift made Shattenkirk go down like one of the old ‘Banana Split’ characters from the 70s kids show. Ludicrous. Keep your feet, man! You were needed on that play!

Brick & Jack are completely wrong about the effort level. They didn’t finish, got key mistakes from their third pair, and a two goal fluky play/ officiating swing. But they played hard.

Yes, that is very encouraging. Teams with 4 functional lines tend to do better in the playoffs. They were solid tonight and have been pretty good of late.
Weirdest 5 to 1 game I think I've ever seen. That was a pretty damn even hockey game IMO. Just a weird night.
