Looking forward to Palace looking like they have a shot for 45-60 minutes and then getting absolutely buried in the last half hour.

Agreed. But Paul Tierney saw it and described it correctly so VAR assumes it’s not clear or obvious. Or something. That’ll be the justification, anyway, when PMGOL affirms the call.

Palace gave it a go but essentially lost when they didn’t capitalize on several excellent chances on the break in the first half.

Watching City games and hoping for a result is , shall we say an extraordinarily futile experience. The sense of inevitability is overwhelming.

I think that was a PK for Brentford.
Agreed. They seemed to brush it off because the contact happened after he got his shot off, but the slide followed straight through the Brentford man. That's called 100/100 times if it happens in midfield, and very often a yellow.

Not a good day for the refs so far. Or maybe this year…

Burnley keeper gifted DCL for an excuse- me goal in first half stoppage time, and Burnley had a man sent off at 70’. So of course it’s nervy for the Toffees here.

La Cartuja is such a terrible venue. The seating sucks and the field is awful. Players are slipping all over the place.

Two VAR overturns in 3 minutes in the Old Firm match, one which gave Rangers a goal and one which took one away from them. So now we get 30 minutes of Old Firm play in which the ref has been totally neutered. This ought to go well.

It's weird to see Man U. this late in the season with a negative goal differential.

Pool needs to practice shooting down...
