Even better. He got away with it - those are the best screens. I get we have civilized folks amongst us but if you want the C's to get another banner, they will have to play at the edge. From what I have seen, it takes at least that to get over the top.
I can’t really blame them for relaxing with a 30 point lead. If they don’t come out focused after this timeout it’s a different story. Hard to stay focused when you know there is a switch you can flip to dominate the other team.
Players play, and the Celts have played like ass the last five minutes. It's on the coach for not stopping a 15, 18-2 run at least once
They have always shown that they believe in this switch. I wish I believed they had it. It’d be an absolute tragedy to somehow blow this but showing these same tendencies again in game 1 of the playoffs is such a bummer

So if the Cs had won by 30 it would have been played down as “just one game, they don’t get anything extra for the blowout” - but if the Heat make it more respectable it’s actually a win for them and a sign of a fatal Celtics flaw. Do I have that national narrative right?
in these blow outs, perhaps putting in the bench (that wants to play) is better than a bored starters
Only positive is that this probably stops the team from trying to coast in the first quarter of G2.
Sneaky move from Spo here would be.... foul Jaylen, see if you can get into his head and have it pay benefit later in the series
Miami basically extended their D to half court and we really struggled to attack it. Gotta work that out
They did that in the first half too and the Cs shredded it. It was just a lapse in concentration and intensity.
I think a lot of that was just trying to milk clock like normal with BOS.
I have more concerns about defensive effort slacking
It looked like the team wanted to hold the ball to kill clock and didn’t attack the basket once it got past the D.
In fairness they were doing that at various points throughout the game, it worked better for Miami when the C’s got lackadaisical and sloppy late.
I did think it was more effective for Miami regardless, even earlier in the game, but might be hard to sustain that defensive effort over four quarters with how bad their bench is
Looked a little different to me like they brought 2 and shaded a third. Basically worked on denying the first pass of the swing and forced a skip pass instead. Nobody really respects us to drive when they get that aggressive or they’re willing to risk that to take us out of our 3 point offense
I also would have taken White out after that hit from Bam, but I am not a huge fan of the two big lineup against lineups like the Heat
The Bam dirty screen on White being a complete no-call and Tatum getting a screen call on Herro are two ridiculous things part of this "run".
