    Justin Turner and COVID

Kevin Cash must feel like the luckiest man in America right now. He should send Turner a nice fruit basket to thank him for changing the subject.

If I were the Cardinals, I'd be ecstatic to play that team in the first round, especially with hardly any fans in the stands.

    10/25 - 49ers at Patriots

Very Red Soxian performance here today.

I always enjoy seeing a 2-0 on the scoreboard. Hopefully neither the Cowboys nor the Football Team score again.

Jeez, seemed like the Giants defense had really stepped up tonight and then it just totally disintegrated in the last five minutes - stupid penalties, wide open receivers. That Engram didn't catch that pass was also a huge play.

Wow, Giants are going to lose this unless Wentz gift wraps an INT for them.

    Gold Glove Finalists

That's an excellent point. I certainly didn't recognize some of the names in the Sox lineup this year either.

Manfred: 16-team postseason likely to stay as “an overwhelming majority” of owners endorsed the concept before COVID

Felger: Red Sox offered Mookie what he asked for, and were turned down

Sox Owners, Partners Plan Major Development Around Fenway Park

Hotels and downtown apartments/condos have their issues right now too! Presumably, its still a long time before they break ground on any of this.

Doc Emrick to retire from NHL broadcast booth

I'm not much of an NHL fan but I always enjoyed the twang of his voice and the cadence with which he called the game. Won't feel the same watching without him.

    2020 Dolphins: Aloha

Why would the Dolphins, having just used a very valuable draft pick on one of the most highly touted QBs in recent memory, think that 37 year old Ryan Fitzpatrick is anything other than a short term expedient?

Fenway Sports Group in Talks to Take Sports Holdings Public

Hard to know without more details on the SPAC deal. Is Henry cashing out completely (probably not)? What's the split of whatever the cash proceeds are between him and the limited partners? Will Henry and his people be calling the shots after the deal, or will the SPAC sponsors? You can be...

Fenway Sports Group in Talks to Take Sports Holdings Public

Baseball teams have certainly been owned by publicly traded companies before - the Angels were owned by Disney, the Braves by Turner Broadcasting and then Time Warner. I would think they could still block if they were uncomfortable with some aspect of the ownership group but I would think...
