    Justin Turner and COVID

My daughter is 9 months and hasn't seen her grandparents since she was born. It's hard to make sense of things.

It never gets old - reflections on Oct 17-20, 2004

I am SO thankful the Rays held on, and I dislike the Rays only second to the Yankees. One of the first things I said in 04 after the Sox came back in the ALCS was that they (the 04 Sox) would FOREVER be known as the first (and only) team to come back down 0-3. The fact they did it against NYY...

Post your favorite March Madness memories in here

Scotty Thurman's shot over Duke in 1994: View: https://youtu.be/2ahgq19m_Dg I was a sophomore at Arkansas for this. We were in Bud Walton in a buddy's suite, watching on a huge screen they had up on the court. It was incredible and when this shot fell it was absolute madness. We partied all...

Markelle Fultz, Year Three: He's back! Big....?

Went to the game last night and the crowd went nuts for his first half, and then exploded with his game-winning one-handed dunk (and one) at the end. Hope he can keep building on performances like that, it's fun rooting for the kid.

2019 MLB Awards Week: Verlander barely beats Cole for Cy Young

Another good example is Lamelo Ball having like 8 million Instragram followers, which is more than any MLB player (and NFL too I believe, but still). Boggles my mind but yea MLB needs to do more to promote.

[POLL] Vote on Unlocking/Locking the "Undefeated Season Watch" Thread

I voted unlock. Embrace the challenge, don't hide from it. Nothing we did worked before so why worry about it now. This team is a MONSTER and why not enjoy them right now at their peak. And so what if they lose a game eventually; it's hard to run the table in the NFL and it wouldn't be...

    2019 Masters

Yea that was brutal. Nantz using his indoor golf voice still ugh. Hey so I can't remember...what happens when someone repeats (as rare as it is)...do they put the jacket on themselves?

    Celebrating What Is

Just like when teams get down 0-3 and the Sox are referenced, whenever a team gets down huge those Pats will be referenced. It's beautiful.

The world’s greatest sports trivia question is intact for another year

Yea I got the easy one, got the college and one of the players of the second, and had nothing for the other two. So probably the same as most fans as Phil points out.

    What is THE baseball highlight?

I still can't believe HOU came back to win that series. At the time I thought that was the most devastating and demoralizing homer I'd ever seen, and figured no way in hell any team could come back from that. I know baseball isn't exactly the same as other sports but still, major props to the...

High-Class Problems: Worst Blunders of the Henry Era

My #1 and it's not close. I'll never understand it and it has drastically reduced my enjoyment of NESN broadcasts. Nothing else ownership has done negatively has had such an impact. Edited to add: such a first-world sports problem which just goes to show how amazingly fortunate we have been...
