I thought he played pretty well today.  Not sure there was much he could do on the long throw down the sideline; looked like a great route and timing between the QB and receiver.

Does anyone have any thoughts on why both lines looked so bad?  I mean, I get that a talent infusion would help, but the O-line in particular had appeared to be gelling as the season progressed, and I didn't expect Denver's D to present such a formidable challenge.

This happens all the time. It's just usually not a fumble because the offensive player is down by contact (because he's been touched by a defender). The Ridley play was fluky; I don't know why you can't accept that.

I don't think that's the right way of looking at it - half the teams go 0-1. In each game, there's a winner and a loser, so the average team is .500, just like in the regular season.
