    4/29 - Dance Hall Days

Sorry - halfboards, not bumper - my lingo needs working on. I agree entirely with your assessment @cshea and am a little frustrated with how they haven't let DeBrusk settle in to one position all year. He's obviously lacking confidence but I thought his effort has been there. I assume there...

    4/29 - Dance Hall Days

Would you put him in for Ritchie? I'd like to see that, and have him replace Ritchie on the PP1 too, assuming they want to keep Hall on the bumper on PP2.

    Bruins 2021 Season Thread

Responding to @The Napkin, the NHL season as been extended to May 19 according to this article and another post on this forum recently which I can't seem to find.

    Niners Trade for #3 Pick

This puts the Dolphins in a great position to land Watson when/if the issues around him are resolved, even if that is not until next offseason. They could get an impact player at #12 this year and still have 2 2022 1st rounders and 2 2023 1st rounders.

    March NHL News

Jack Johnson placed on waivers. Signed a 1 year, $1.15M contract in the off-season so a reasonable contract. He's had some injury problems this year. Should the Bruins be interested. He can't be worse than Tinordi can he?

    Tompa Bay: Tom Tom Club

Does this in any way mean that 2021 is his last year or can he restructure next offseason as well?

    3/3 - Washington visits Boston

Marchand also got 5 minutes and a game misconduct. Embarrassing from the NHL, but I'm not surprised.

    2/25 - Bruins at Isles

Not that it mattered, but Frederic getting a penalty without a matching penalty to Martin was some dreadful refereeing.

2/21 Flyers at Tahoe - time to clear the air

    Any lucky numbers?

    2/5 @ Flyers

What is the rule there? Matching minors make it 4v4. The Bruins take two penalties before the matching minors are over. Matching penalties end and it goes 5 on 4, even with 2 Bruins in the box with overlapping penalties. The first non matching penalty ends... And it's now 5v5. Do the refs...

Super Bowl LV: Game Thread – Kansas City Chiefs @ Tompa Bay Bucs

I agree with all of the foregoing re: Super Bowl 49. And still, 36 is my favorite as a fan. How can you beat the first? An underdog team given no chance to win playing an outstanding game and winning on a last second field goal.

    James Harden to Brooklyn

What is Cleveland going to do with Allen and Drummond (and Nance for that matter)? They have to move one, right?

Tatum got the bag(5 years, $195 million)

I wouldn't trade Tatum signed to a 5 year max extension for anyone.

    Bledsoe interview

These clips make me so nostalgic... they jerseys, prime Berman, the music, Bledose, Glenn. Ah, to be 12 years old again. Also, did we really watch TV with such poor resolution? For me, it's this game against the Vikings where he threw the ball 70 times, and something like 45 times in a row...

    November NHL news

Their hands were tied with Hamilton, IIRC. He wasn't going to sign was the issue? I remember thinking they had to trade him. Who does the Athletic list at #1? MacKinnon? Edit re Hamilton: "He was a restricted free agent at the time, and although Boston controlled his future, he gave every...

    November NHL news

At what point do we start to worry about the 2021 NHL season not being played? It seems they are far behind the NBA in terms of announcements regarding the start of the season, and likely can't rely on the same TV revenue. I fear the smaller teams will be losing money having a season at all if...

    USMNT: Hold My Beer

Thank you for this! I'm at work and spent the first half struggling with a low res stream. The second half has been smooth and clear.

The Pre-Game Thread: Wk.6 vs Denver

It is unfortunate that the Patriots, with their dubious recent history with the NFL office, are now in the position of being the first team with a positive Covid test and no ability to reschedule their game without causing the NFL to have to do something besides pretend it will all work out.

The Pre-Game Thread: Wk.6 vs Denver

Of course it has to be the Patriots that break the NFL's schedule.
