    Brady is back….back again

GOAT took the G and family to the North Pole to hand deliver this year's wish list to Santa. Tom wants 2 more years, kids want reindeer rides with the elves. TB12 is afraid that global warming may make the trip impossible in coming years. Santa oked the trip. Professional courtesy to legends.

Thanks coach. This twin dialed totally vacced beauty hasn't been used in about 35 years. So its definitely marked FRAJILLAY and handle with care. I just hope it survived an ex's anger and vindictiveness.

Looking for hifi audio help... plunge into vinyl

Fuck-"Tech Hifi" is really a blast from the past. I used to love going into Tech (on Comm Ave near BU) and fooling around with receivers and speakers well outside my price point.

    Kevin Durant Sweepstakes

If Brad can get Durant at a significant discount I'd be more amenable, but I see little reason for breaking up a legit contender (packaging Brown, White or Smart and picks) for an aging Durant. I see more risk than reward. If Jaylen gives an indication he wants to play in Boston and compete for...

    Kevin Durant Sweepstakes

I'm glad you got a good laugh. I don't care about alpha or beta, just that Tatum develops into player he can become. My concern is that Durant could retard that process. And IMO Tatum likey has a higher ceiling than the 2nd bananas you mentioned.

    Kevin Durant Sweepstakes

I'm still in the No on KD for several reasons, (mostly I think they can win without him and as currently constructed, and why the fuck would the Celts want to bail out a rival unless they can get a KD-discount). But one big unspoken reason is that I wonder if Tatum's ability to grow into a...

    RIP Bill Russell

I suggested the NBA retiring Russell's #6 almost immediately (see upthread) I think it a modest gesture to pay tribute to a giant of a human being in so many ways. His impact on me as a teenager (and I would guess many others) and how I (we) understood racism and its assault on common decency...

    Vin Scully has passed away

    RIP Bill Russell

The NBA should retire the #6 as a modest tribute to Russell and his pioneering impact on the game on and off the court.

    RIP Bill Russell

At some point I'll collect my thoughts about the passing of the heart and soul of a great dynastic team. And a giant of a human being. My sincerest condolences to his family, friends and fans around the world. We lost a great man today and we are all all hurting. RIP #6

A Tip of the Cap to Mr. Castiglione

Sometimes you need to listen to a game on the radio, either because you're driving or at the beach, but sometimes because you just have a need to listen to a well-called game by a guy who knows the game and the pace that it should be delivered. And Joe delivers. He's a good listen.

    After Babe Ruth ... who?

Probably Looey. He was my favorite SP on some very good 70s Sox teams that came so close. He was a blast to watch. He pitched his arm off in the "75 WS and he pitched his heart out in a shut out win versus the BJs in game before the BFD '78 game. it was his last game (played) as a Sox. And...

HOF Induction Ceremony 2022 (Big Papi)

Speaking for myself, I first really learned of Buck ONeil because of his extraordinary presence in Ken Burn's Baseball documentary of some 30 years ago. He was magnificent and today is long overdue.
