Why would they hate him? I guarantee you that a guy like Tatum thinks pretty highly of Kevin Durant.

I think significantly more likely and unless another team blows the Nets away with an offer or the Celtics back out, I think Durant ends up in Boston.

It also hurts the Nets bargaining position quite a bit to know that Durant is pretty adamant about wanting out. I don't think that they can reasonably expect him back this season. How in the world is Nash expected to coach the guy who is demanding that he get fired?

I mean, look at the timeline: Brady signed his extension with the Pats in August of 2019 and insisted that the second year be voidable. At the same time that the NFL says the Dolphins began their tampering with him. The league should make the Dolphins forfeit those picks to New England.

The thing that really sucks is that the teams that were negatively affected by the tampering get zero compensation for the consequences of another team's cheating.

I’d rather have a ring or two in the bank in those two years than say, five years of a “winning culture” with multiple deep playoff runs and no championships. AKA, I’d rather be the Miami Heat with LeBron than the 90s Utah Jazz.

He’s a fine player and this isn’t that much of a raise per year off of his last contract, plus as others have pointed out, it creates cap room for 2022.
