Gene’s 1000% right about conferences feeling much longer for the officials. They probably feel like they just had another halftime.

It will shock you to learn that they were by far the best team in the 2nd best league this year. They beat Duke by like 25. Basketball is strange.

Feels like the entire team. Like, what happens when that guy fouls out? They lose by 50?

Every team in the ACC is terrible. It's hard to gauge how good this team is, but I guess we'll see when they play someone.

    2023 College Baseball - Tallon's Mounded Circle

Yeah he was clearly pissed about getting shown up and decided he was going to get retribution. I don't even know why the Southland said he's suspended, you can't bring a guy back with a fuck up that high profile. Just let him go.

Super Bowl LVII - Chiefs vs Eagles in Glendale

That's not a foul. Hands to the face has to either be a forcible blow to the head or prolonged contact. And that is rulebook language. I don't think it's a blow and I don't think it's prolonged.

    Best Superbowl ever? Let's talk

I'll add one more: It's the most watched Super Bowl of all-time as well. The people knew what they were getting and it delivered. Maybe a separate thread, but I wonder if there is any play in any other sport that adjusted a team's % chance of winning a championship more than Malcolm Butler.

The thing about the Pats-Seahawks SB too is that those were the premier teams in the league for YEARS up to that point. Obviously KC has reached that point, but the Eagles have not.

Super Bowl LVII - Chiefs vs Eagles in Glendale

To me the pile pushing stuff is just old school football at it's finest. Looks like the rugby-esque roots of the game.

He grabbed but there was no material restriction. Someone said nobody notices if it’s not called, and that’s exactly right.
