    I’d go so far as to say how Drohan, Perales and Wike finish the year will go a long way in determining the strength of the system. If these guys have strong finishes it changes the profile from a top heavy position player heavy 18-22 ranked system to a top 10ish finish.

    That's literally the first time the entire season he has pitched well multiple times through the order. You had a very rested and viable Kutter Crawford ready to go. Seemed like an easy decision and to let Houck take the start as a massive positive and something to build on moving forward.

    Hamilton cannot play defense and the overall numbers at the plate don’t really match what scouts see. The base running is very real, but again the defense really limits his floor and ceiling.

    That being said. The Red Sox have played the strongest schedule in all of baseball this year. Something I think people aren’t weighing enough. They’ve played great baseball.

    There was an incident in which no criminal charges were brough against Verdugo and involved conflicting testimonies when he as 19 years old. Saying your reaction, which was one of the strongest on this board, was reasonable is incredibly disingenuous.
