    Just bought the 55" Samsung s95b for BF via my Beneplace employee benefit. MSRP $2100, got it for $1015+tax. It's beyond gorgeous and I'm insanely jealous.

    I'd be interested in hearing more after a week or so. BF is in the market for a 55-65 as well. He'll be 100% streaming, and we're looking at options. Built-in Chromecast/GoogleTV a plus, and he's got the latest dongles for AmazonFireTV and Chromecast already.

    ...but ultimately I don't think it's a good idea for a team to constantly mess with start times, because people are used to routine. As viewers, we know we should turn on the TV at 7pm to begin to watch home games, unless we want to catch the pregame show. But ballplayers are creatures of habit...

    The short answer is "yes," but there may be other requirements, such as afternoon games before west coast travel days, etc. I do know the White Sox several years ago started their games at 7:11PM CDT because of a partnership with, yep, you guessed it, 7-11.

    I gotta say I'm thrilled right now with Google Fi and the Samsung S21 Ultra. Battery life is RIDONKULOUS. I unplugged at about 8pm on Wednesday, and I'm at a 50% charge, 2d 3.5h later. I'm not on Android 12 yet, but I'm very happy with the build quality and piggybacking on the T-Mobile network...

    I ditched Big Red for Fi and got the Samsung S21 Ultra at a $400 discount. I'm pissed I missed the early Black Friday deal to get it for $700 off, but I'm still happy. The phone's snappy, responsive, and has great coverage. I should have ported to Fi long ago, probably, but sticking with Verizon...

    This is hit or miss. There are some exclusives, I think, but the things I want are never the exclusives. I get the benefits through work too, and I've had some pretty good luck with tablets and TVs.

    Ditto. Hoping to score a similar deal to the absolutely amazing Best Buy Black Friday deal I got when I got my first Pixel 3XL (before the battery swelled this past May), which is why I want to get a new one, just in case. Otherwise, the 3XL has been a great phone.
