    I wouldn't mind the Sox' City Connect uniforms if they got the shade of blue right. I'd also like it if the B on the hat looked more like the stencil B on the jersey. Really lean into the Marathon thing. But I prefer the white "BOSTON" home unis. Those are great.

    Yuck. I'm fine with newer teams trotting out all sorts of jerseys. But the Sox should really stick with the home whites and the away greys. Let Nike make as many jerseys as they want. But stick with what works on the field.

    When I was there, the main peanut vendor behind home plate taped a thumbtack to his index finger. When he made a sale, he popped the bag and squeezed all the excess air out of it. He claimed it gave him better range and accuracy.
