    The fact that Judge has led the league in exit velocity every single season since his ROY one (with the exception of the 2020 60 game season, so 6 out of 7 if you count this year) is pretty wild. Yeah, he's a big dude, but that's still a statistical improbability.

    I remember the "71% of the world is covered by water" line being used for Melky after he robbed Manny Ramirez of a HR in the pre-Twitter days (and I'm sure for many other HR robberies on other teams I don't remember). Obviously Melky was not nearly the defender Bader is.

    Sure, I recall. Similar to the Red Sox and the Apple Watch thing, which also was in 2017, and also resulted in a fine. This was all before MLB made sign stealing rules more explicit. Not sure what bearing it has on 2023.
