    2023 Starting Rotation

I had stepped away from last night’s game for a few minutes and when I returned, saw a different Sox pitcher and heard about Sale, my first thought was “ Well, he made it to June …… “

When Is It Okay To Worry About Triston Casas: An Attempt at the Reverse Jinx

I remember Pedroia's early struggles. Francona left him in there and we all know how that worked out.

    What does 2023 look like?

I also hear that Devers guy is pretty good. What I mean is that Dalbec probably now has a roster spot. Especially if he maintains his level of hitting during the rest of SP.

    What does 2023 look like?

With the Turner injury today, and presuming he's out for a few weeks, it looks like Dalbec might be the 3rd baseman.

I like the NFC to be home of the SB champs this year.

Kevin Youkilis to be NESN's primary color analyst on Red Sox broadcasts in 2023

No Mazz is great news! More Kevin Millar is not.

Patriots' Priorities for the 2023 Season

The 2022/23 Pats were pretty "eh", as noted in several previous responses. And/or as some coach said - "You are what you are." 1. Get a new OC 2. Get a new ST coach (Judge?) 3. Draft well: OL WR DB LB...

    Which baseball statistic is overblown?

Objective stats are good. Batting avg. OBP etc. Subjective stats are not. WAR (the worst) Most defensive stats

    That’s my quarterback!……or is he?

The jury is out on Jones for me. I want to see him with a better O-line and a real OC before I throw him away.

CFB 2022 Bowls Week 1: Scott Satterfield Bowl in Fenway

There’ve been a bunch of football games played there. I can’t recall any issues, but there may have been some special rule tweaks in play.

    2022 Bengals: Glendale or Bust?

Higgins and his recovery are key in my opinion. Hamstrings are tough to recover from without proper rest. When he’s in that lineup, it makes the Bengals very tough.

Red Sox Rumors - Just Kidding

I suppose one way to look at the Sox losing some players in the draft is that it's a sign of a healthy farm system.

2022 Broncos: Hackett and Wilson just like oil and water

Thanks J-man. Those college mags bring back lots of memories. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Street & Smith each year. But the memories they bring out aren’t all good. Andy Katzenmoyer. A tackling machine in college who, somehow, forgot how to do it when he got to the Pats.

    CFB Coaching Carousel

How does the Rhule signing by Nebraska affect his existing contractual payments from the Panthers? Does he double-dip for a pantload of cash or is there offset language in his NFL contract? I understand there usually is some offset in NCAA to NCAA and/or NFL to NFL, but am curious about NFL to...

Jason Varitek remains with the organization on a 3-year contract

The managerial heir apparent. Given that I'm not a Cora fan -- this is very good news.

Chris Sale opts in to remaining 2 years of contract

At this point for me, anything Sale brings to the table needs to be considered a bonus. He shouldn’t be factored as a significant contributor.

    What does 2023 look like?

This potential rotation doesn’t give me the warm and fuzzies. First three starters are more-than-average injury risks. I hope whatever Chaim puts together is better.
