Except Tkachuk shouldn't have been penalized for the hit. And I'd argue that's he's extremely disciplined and knows exactly what he's doing...guys like Lomberg and Gudas on the other hand certainly fit your description.

    Stanley Cup Final

I mean, I thought Florida was the better team for two periods. Great push by Vegas in the third…I wasn’t paying enough attention to see what adjustments they made but they had all the pressure. Still a game that could have gone either way. Hoping for a great series.

Summer 2023 NHL News (Offseason?) Thread

Babcock is an asshole, always has been. Obviously knows his way around the rink but I wouldn’t want to touch him. I suppose everyone is entitled to grow as a person and atone for mistakes but from everything I’ve heard, fuck that guy.

FA Cup Final Game Thread: Citeh v Utd

For sure…the whole league feels like that now- I’ve always had a soft spot for City going way back, and having two Belgian stars certainly made me root for them, but the league needed Arsenal this year or the Klopp teams, or the occasional Chelsea upset to keep this experiment from making footy...

FA Cup Final Game Thread: Citeh v Utd

Was going to be an uphill battle for United anyways…that doesn’t help. I mean, you keep the same gameplan and hope you got it right but that one has to sting.

Spurs 22/23: So, do we have a manager?

All of this feels true. Also feels right…Although maybe part of my argument is that Spurs isn’t “top tier” right now despite all attempts to create said appearance. But they’re certainly rich enough

Spurs 22/23: So, do we have a manager?

What a pass…Roma had been slowly pressing and that cut them open. Dybala not gonna miss that

Life is a Beach - Summer 2023 Transfer

Juve would be a great spot for him...not only is their ownership/front office incredibly well organized and all unified under a coherent plan, but their coach is well known for his expansive play and development of younger attacking players. Edit: I know money talks but there are a handful of...

Wrapping it up- Memorial Day Weekend Game Thread

Big question next year...we went with the "high paid old guys" strategy this season and it worked. Think we need a few years in the second division to get a strong foundation for a push up to the top. We could roll this exact squad out and wouldn't get relegated but there's no future there. I'm...

Yeah- my son asked me something about Carlisle United and when we looked them up yesterday saw the fireworks.
