The team from Washington did the Pats a huge solid. Maye is going to be awesome, last year's debacle was the best thing to happen to the Pats in years.
Justin has value and could actually be an NFL starter. So he's #1. I think Pittsburgh got lucky being able to pick him up. I wish the Pats got him but with the #3 pick, it doesn't matter if they can get Maye.
Mac could be a bad backup you could throw in there if the starter got hurt. So he's...
I don't care how highly regarded he was. That was three years ago. Three years ago, Trey Lance was also highly regarded.
He's played a lot in the NFL and none of it has even been average. He's legitimately bad. Bad completion percentage. Bad INT percentage. Insane sack yards lost. Truly low TD...
At least through the first major, the LIV guys were really not involved. DeChamblees made a run but he's been gone for a while now. And the rest weren't ever close. Rham, DJ, and Koepka in particular were never even close.
And Scottie just stomping on the neck of everyone. No mercy.
Nobody stays atop forever, except Tiger Woods. So it's fair to say Scottie keeping this up is not a guarantee.
But how he plays does appear to be more sustainable. It's not miracle shots and insane chipping and 60 footers out of nowhere. It's just long and straight and long and straight and...
Definitely, but Spieth did it with incredible chipping and putting. Almost supernatural putting. He was never a bomber. Just a young man who had no fear, so he drained everything.
Scottie appears to be more sustainable. It's just steady and really long and really tight.
He is like 00s Tiger. He's longer than everyone. His irons are WAY better than everyone. And if he's putting well, he cannot be beaten. He's also nails in the clutch, which is just so freaking impressive. These shots he's hitting are art.
Scottie is on a heater right now.
It doesn't just work, it's nearly perfection. His ball striking is all time awesome right now, (I believe he's 2nd all time over the past year in strokes gained, Tiger is #1 from the 00s, I think 05) his strokes gained statistics are pretty crazy.
I said like 30 minutes ago this is the first Masters where multiple people were in it on the final day. And then all the people except golf perfection Scottie Scheffler fell apart.
