Tim Wakefield has passed away from brain cancer at 57 (10/1 update)

Mass produced or not I was moved (tears) when I received mine. I plan on framing it with my pic of me and Wake that was taken just a few months prior. It's a small thing but he meant so much to me as a Sox fan and I will cherish the 49 card forever. As far as I know Stacy is is still fighting...

    Rethinking Barstool?

To be fair... some of us are bitter because we didn't sell when we should have because we were bored, at home, idiots (shouldn't be trading on our own) spurred on by mostly whiskey.

    Rethinking Barstool?

Hopefully one day that is reflected in the stock price. It will never hit it pandemic high but some growth would be nice for its investors.

    Black Monday watch

In-laws are family friends with Chip from New Hampshire. Brother in-law said this came straight from Chip. He said that Ryan Day, whom he is also good friends with from high school, also mentioned it. Day even suggested he may end up there as well if/when OSU lets him go. Sorry it's not more...

Not our Star Blazer: Yamamoto signs with the Dodgers for $325 million, 12 years

Just checking but has there been any mention of how many years those 300mm offers are for. I know we assume 10 but has anything been stated as such? Id be fine with 300mm for 9 or even 8 years.

    NESN360 and Streaming Options

Im in Virginia so I don't have any local options. I switch between YouTube Tv and Fubu. YouTube doesn't have MLB network so I held out as long as I could before leaving Fubu for the NFL on YouTube. Cost wise is the same as cable outside of occasional promo's. I do like the ability to start and...

    2023 Offseason MLB News/Rumors Thread

Bryce Elder was pretty good last season and they have Ian Anderson coming back from TJ. Adding another ace should be the plan. Ohtani and Nola would push their payroll but they make some room if needed. They are the definition of GFIN with the team friendly deals they have on their stars.
